Request deletion
of app-held data
Last updated: 30 October 2026
These instructions apply to information stored by StackRadar Publisher for its Instagram keyword-to-repository-link feature.
How to request deletion
- From the Instagram account that made the comment, send a message to @thestackradar beginning with “Privacy deletion request”.
- Include the relevant StackRadar reel link and, if available, the comment link or approximate comment date. This helps locate the delivery record without requesting unrelated personal information.
- The account owner will review the request manually and may ask you to verify ownership. Never provide passwords, sign-in codes, API keys or identity documents.
What can be removed
Following verification, the owner can remove the app-held comment/reply record, associated commenter hash and stored delivery information for the identified interaction. Technical details needed for security or legal obligations may need to be retained; any relevant exception should be explained in the response. Older restricted backups may contain records until those backups are replaced or removed.
What this does not delete
This process does not delete content held independently by Meta, your Instagram account, or public comments and messages on Instagram. Use Instagram’s own controls for those. Removing a public comment alone does not delete the app’s existing delivery record.
Avoid future automated replies
Do not comment the stated keyword on further StackRadar reels. The automation does not send unsolicited follow-ups. If delivery records are deleted and you later make a new keyword request, that new request may receive a reply.
Connected account owner
The StackRadar account owner can revoke the app’s access through Meta’s connected-app controls. Revocation stops future authorized access; deletion of stored credentials and operational records is a separate server administration step.
